Ambulance care of Singapore

 Today, we are discussing about Ambulance care in Singapore

Singapore:
The Emergency Ambulance Service (EAS) In Singapore provides pre-hospital care to accident victims and patients in criticle conditions. Singapore provides 1 of the quickest and best ambulance service in the world. Emergency number as follows:
Ambulance/Fire Emergencies: 995
Police :999( response time is 5 minutes for life and death cases, depends, can take up to2 and the half hours for non- Life and Death cases.)
Responding time for Ambulance:
Domestic Emergencies such as( Heart Attack, faints, Stroke and so on... ) 
Fastt Response Paramedics( Used in Life or Death cases):  3-5 minutes
Ambulance: average 8 minutes usually between 6-12 minutes
Singapore Emergency Ambulances
Road accidents
First Response Paramedics( Not really used unless there are no Collapse cases): 3 to 5 minutes
Ambulance : 12 minutes
Police: Depends, can take up to 1 hour
Fire pumper: 12 minutes

However, in rush hours, ambulance will take longer as there are always traffic jams

Domestic Emergency:
First Response Paramedics (Usually used in collapsed cases) : 5 minutes
Ambulance: 12-20 minutes minutes

Singapore Emergency Ambulance( Private, built by private companies, not owned by government)
Accidents:
First Response Paramedics ( depends, not usually used, FRPs focuses on collapse cases): 5 minutes
Ambulance : 12-20 minutes
Police:depends, can take up to 1 hour
Fire pumper: 12-20 minutes

Take note of the laws:
It is an offence for motorist not to give way to Emergency vehicles. Every Ambulance is fitted with a video camera that is used to record vehicles that might hog and obstruct an Ambulance. 

Punishments:
Compound fine up to $160 and 4 demerit points
First time offenders:
Fine up to $1000 and imprisonment for up to 3 years

Subsequent offenders: 
Fine up to $2000 and imprisonment up to 6 years.

Depending on the severity of the situation , the driver may also be banned from driving.

Take note: The SCDF Ambulance must not be used for non-emergency cases (minor cuts , minor bruises) There is a fine of $180 if you do so. If you wish to call an ambulance for non-emergency cases, call 1777.)
